This course gives an strategic overview over present and forthcoming versions of Windows 98, Windows 2000 and Windows ME. Modern hardware and software is discussed. Connections to Internet is presented with emphasise on searching tools. The students will be guided in finding Internet sites related to their specific interest.

State of the art techniques for analysing gases and vapors is presented: MS, UV/VIS, FTIR, GC, GC/MS and GC/FTIR. The course is taught by providing practical examples complemented by demonstrations

Fuels and Clean Combustion a Molecular Approach
This course presents a molecular approach to clean and efficient combustion. The influence by the fuel on ignition, flame speed and formation of emissions is emphasized. The unique insight from miniature combustion reactors probed by MS, FTIR, GC/MS and GC/FTIR and modeling is given. The combustors to be discussed are; powerplants fueled by biomass, natural gas and coal; as well as spark-ignition and diesel engines.
